1. I am not sure "How to" Sign In - HELP!: You will need to "Sign In" each time you want to Order
and/or
If you belong to the Baby Michelle and/or Bible Club.
2. I am not sure "How to" Sign Up as a "New User" - HELP!: 1. Click on "Sign In" as shown below:

Make your choices for:
Newsletter
This is different than the Yahoo Groups. The newsletter will be very similar to the newsletter sent out on the different Yahoo Groups list and will likely contain picture(s).

Broadband or Dial-Up
The only difference is that Broadband = 1 zipped
Dial-Up = multiple zipped files.
You will receive the exact same designs and doc files.

Format Preference
Choose your sewing machine's format.
If you choose a design format that is NOT included in the design set,
the download zipped file will be PES (native format).
3. I need the designs in more than ONE format - HELP!: 1. The easiest way to download the design set in more than ONE format is to change the design format by clicking on "My Account":

2. Then you will see the following page (PES or your orginal format of choice):

3. Choose a different format (I chose HUS):

4. Don't forget to CLICK ON <Change Format Type>
You will see the following message

Design set format to download has been changed.

5. Next CLICK ON <Order History>

6. Then you will see the following page and you can download the design set(s) as HUS.

7. Click on Download button shown below to download design set(s).
4. My design format type I chose is NOT showing up in the ORDER HISTORY or to download - it shows PES - HELP!: If the design set does NOT have your file format to download then it will default to the native format of PES. I do NOT have ALL the design sets converted to more than HUS and PES. If you look at the top of each design set - it will tell you what formats are offered for that design set. Eventually, the 4in hoop sets will be converted and tested to other formats than HUS and PES.

For Example: Baby Michelle Paper Doll Design Set
Is sold in PES, DST, HUS, JEF, SHV, VIP, VP3, AND XXX formats.
5. I have emailed you for HELP or a question and I have NOT received an email back from you - HELP!: Please look in your email SPAM and JUNK folder to see if you have a message from Embroidery Design Place. I would also suggest that you add deb@embroiderydesignplace.com into your approved email senders list. And if you have emailed me after 4pm est on Friday - I probably won't get back to you until Monday - sorry. Also if you do not have a reply within 48hrs then please email me again. If you are in doubt if I received your email - then please email me again - I don't mind.
6. For some reason I wasn't taken to the instant download page or my ISP disconnected me in the middle of downloading - HELP!: Please click on the ORDER HISTORY Link found at the top of the page. In the ORDER HISTORY you will find all the design sets purchased.

If you are still having problems, please email me with the following information:
1. Your First and Last name.
2. Machine Format you need the design set(s) in.
3. Let me know if you have a high speed or dial up internet connection.

I'm normally off-line on Saturday and Sunday. I am usually on-line Monday - Friday 10am to 4pm est. and I check frequently through out the day.
7. I've downloaded all the zipped files, but don't see the doc files after unzipping - HELP!: Did you by chance unzip using Embird or Buzztools? Embird and Buzztools will NOT unzip doc or pdf files. You'll need to use something similar to Winzip. If you need to download Winzip, please go here: I don't think it's free anymore. www.winzip.com.
However, this is free and is highly recommended program: http://www.7-zip.org/
8. I can't view the pdf files - HELP!: Did you open the pdf files in Adobe Reader? Please go here for the free Adobe Reader. http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readermain.html Click on the [Get Adobe Reader] and follow the directions.
9. The color sew out names are different on my embroidery machine or they are strange color names than the ones you show. Why???: The least complicated reason is because I do most of my color changes in Embird, so if you have a PE-150, or any Viking - they will show up weird and even sometimes on my ULT.

The reason why the colors are not the same as the colors used in the stitch out is because when you open the designs up in pes and/or hus formats, your embroidery software fills the design with its own colors from the software's palette. If you have an ULT in most cases the color will be the same as the color chart. I do occasionally change the colors in Embird, which makes the ULT color different on the screen. The color chart can be found in the pdf file that matches the design name.
For example: Michelle.pes/hus = Michelle.pdf
**I think the easiest way to keep track of the color number sew outs is to print out the pdf file that matches the design name, and mark off the colors as you go.
10. I have added files with edr extensions. What are they used for???: The edr files store the colors I used in my designs. You can view these ONLY in Embird. Don't load the edr file on the floppy you wish to put in your machines.
11. My computer went down and I lost all my design sets I had ordered from you. Can you help me???: Please click on the ORDER HISTORY Link found at the top of the page. The ORDER HISTORY will contain ALL design sets purchased after 2007.

If you had purchased any sets before 2007, please email me with the following information:
1. Your First and Last Name
2. If possible your Paypal Invoice with the set numbers

I will try to track them down. But I had a hard drive crash on Aug 15th, 2005 so I may not be able to track down all your design sets - Sorry.
